Commodore's Challenge 2010
This year the Commodore wants contestants to construct a craft that is 24 inches long and capable of following a course around two buoys set 5 metres apart.
In the quest for inventiveness that this challenge has at its heart, the big snag is with the means of propulsion. Electric motors are on the banned list, as are sails and steam piston engines.
The Challenge will be held at our Open Day in September.
