Commodore's Challenge 2009
This year the Commodore wants contestants to construct an electrically-powered air-boat capable of negotiating a steering course on the lake during the second of our Regatta Days on Saturday 5th September 2009.
The motor used must be of the 400 type. No rudders are allowed in the water - steering has to be achieved by diverting the airflow generated by the propellor.
All entries will be measured. Dimensions must be 385mm length and 170mm beam with a 5mm tolerance allowed.
